Natalie 

Natalie brings over two decades of experience in the pest control industry, having started her career as a pest control administrator in 2002. Her dedication to professionalism and attention to detail is evident in her extensive training, which includes numerous industry-related courses and hands-on fieldwork with technicians. This comprehensive knowledge allows her to communicate effectively with clients and technicians alike.

At Borough Pest Control, Natalie has been instrumental in developing and maintaining the entire service control system, ensuring the smooth operation of daily servicing and account management. As the first point of contact for all technicians, she leverages her vast expertise to address any issues promptly and accurately. Additionally, Natalie underwrites all insurance policies related to structural woodboring insect works, further showcasing her reliability and proficiency in the field.

Beyond her professional commitments, Natalie is a passionate wildlife enthusiast and gardener. She has built bee hotels in her garden and places honey water in bee baths to provide a safe haven for bees. Her love for birds is evident as she feeds them responsibly, ensuring she does not attract unwanted pest activity. Natalie’s pug, Reg, is a constant companion, sitting on her desk and keeping her company throughout the day.

Natalie’s commitment to excellence and her ability to get things done make her an invaluable asset to Borough Pest Control and a trusted professional in the pest control industry. Her approachable nature and genuine passion for wildlife and the environment add a unique and personable touch to her professional expertise.

Declan

Declan’s career in pest control and prevention spans an impressive 35 years, marked by professionalism, discretion, and unwavering attention to detail. Beginning his journey as a trainee pest control technician with Rentokil in 1989, Declan quickly distinguished himself by achieving some of the highest grades in the country. By 1991, his expertise earned him a place in The Guild Of Master Technicians. Throughout his tenure at Rentokil, he managed pest control for prestigious clients including the National Maritime Museum, Chelsea Football Club, Peter Waterman, the Royal Festival Hall, and the National Theatre.

In 1995, Declan transitioned to National Britannia, where he oversaw pest control services for Southwark Council in London. There, he trained and mentored a team of 15 technicians to achieve RSPH Level 2 qualifications. Following this successful contract, he took charge of a small pest control company in Kent. Through dedication and rigorous training, he transformed this struggling business into a major industry player, ultimately leading to its acquisition by Rentokil in 2016.

Declan’s expertise also extended to roles as an Environmental Health and Trading Standards Officer for a local London borough. Later, he founded a local pest control company in Kent, recognizing the need for quality, prompt, and reasonably priced services in surrounding boroughs. This initiative led to the creation of Borough Pest Control, where he franchises areas to fully qualified technicians.

As a longstanding member of the British Pest Control Association, Declan ensures that his franchisees adhere to the highest industry standards. Despite his extensive experience and leadership role, Declan remains actively involved in fieldwork, managing his own area in Medway and staying closely connected with his franchisees daily.

Beyond his professional life, Declan is an avid music producer, composing bespoke music across a wide range of genres

Tania

Tania oversees the company’s finances with unwavering dedication, ensuring every penny is meticulously accounted for. With over two decades of experience in the pest control industry, working alongside Declan since 2002, Tania possesses a deep understanding of both the business and its unique financial demands. Her meticulous management of cash flow guarantees seamless financing for our operations, directly benefiting our clients.

In addition to her financial expertise, Tania directly communicates with clients who lack the financial ability to pay for public health services. She is exceptionally compassionate and understanding, always striving to help in any way she can. Known for her authoritative presence and diligent approach, Tania is committed to excellence and truly understands the financial needs of our customers.

Tania is also a lovable woman, married to James, and an ardent animal lover. She cares for discarded dogs by taking them into her home and loving them. Dedicated to wildlife preservation, Tania will never allow an animal to be harmed under her watch. Her commitment to both her work and her passions reflects her deep-seated dedication and empathy.

David

David’s career journey is a testament to his adaptability and passion for new challenges. After dedicating 20 years to finance, he sought a new direction inspired by a television documentary on pest control.

Recognizing the industry’s appeal, David pursued the RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management through online studies. He then joined one of the country’s largest and most successful pest control companies, where he worked alongside highly experienced professionals. His dedication and enthusiasm were evident as he quickly earned his RSPH Level 2 certificate, excelling in all areas of the qualification.

David developed a particular expertise in wood-boring beetles and bed bugs, his favorite pest. After two years with the company, he was promoted to Quality Assurance Manager, a role he found immensely fulfilling. In this capacity, he trained numerous junior technicians, guiding them toward their own qualifications and success within the pest control industry.

Outside of his professional life, David has a passion for boats and sailing. He spends much of his leisure time with his family on the river in Kent, enjoying the tranquility and adventure that come with life on the water.

James

James transitioned into pest control three years ago after a successful career in the electrical jointing industry. His meticulous attention to safety and remarkable ability to retain and apply knowledge have made him an exemplary technician. James swiftly earned his stewardship and RSPH Level 2 qualifications, demonstrating his proficiency in addressing a wide range of pest issues, including those involving woodboring insects that can lead to structural problems.

James is known for his thorough understanding of property construction, which ensures he leaves no stone unturned when dealing with pest issues. His dedication to safety, particularly concerning animals and children, underscores his commitment to providing effective and conscientious pest control solutions. An animal lover, James has spent the last 15 years giving abandoned dogs a new home with him and his family, reflecting his compassionate nature.

In addition to his extensive qualifications, James has worked alongside DEFRA in addressing the Asian hornet issue in Kent. He is the only BPCA-registered technician authorised to control an Asian hornet nest for and on behalf of DEFRA. James’s exceptional communication skills, vast knowledge, and dedication to both his work and animal welfare make him a reliable and professional technician who consistently delivers outstanding results.

Tom

Tom began his career in pest control at the age of 18. Rather than pursuing RSPH Level 2 management, he found his true passion in bird control. Tom has built an impressive career, working with prestigious clients such as Bluewater, Chelsea Football Club, and the National Maritime Museum. His current focus is on height-proofing buildings against birds.

Tom is IPAF licensed and adheres strictly to the guidelines set out in the Wildlife and Countryside Act, ensuring that no other wildlife is harmed in his work. He has a remarkable attention to detail and can quickly plan and execute installations. Tom is known for his dedication and tireless work ethic, leading his team with the same commitment and ensuring no site is left without thorough inspection and completion.

Beyond his professional life, Tom is a massive car enthusiast with a particular love for classic cars. He currently drives an original Toyota Supra and dreams of owning a Ford Capri.

Lewis

Lewis is a highly experienced drainage engineer with 17 years of expertise in all aspects of drainage. His extensive knowledge encompasses everything from preventing rats from entering buildings through the sewer system to collaborating closely with pest control technicians to ensure clients don’t face recurring problems.

As an expert in drainage, Lewis offers a comprehensive range of services, including rat flap installation, CCTV surveys, no-dig lining, sewer installations, and every other drainage service you might need. His proficiency and dedication make him an invaluable asset in maintaining effective and lasting solutions for all drainage-related issues.
